Targeted State Social Assistance
Targeted State Social Assistance (TSSA) is a monthly social payment provided by the state to improve the financial situation of low-income families. The main purpose of this assistance is to support the social well-being of low-income families and ensure their minimum standard of living. The amount of assistance is calculated based on the difference between the family's per capita income and the subsistence minimum established in the country. Through the “Targeted Assistance” (VEMTAS) subsystem, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Targeted State Social Assistance” and the Rules on “Applying for, Assigning, Providing and Refusing to Provide Targeted State Social Assistance”, processes related to electronically applying for targeted state social assistance, assigning or refusing to assign targeted state social assistance, as well as its payment are carried out.
