Adoption
Adoption is the process by which a child deprived of parental care legally becomes a member of another family. It involves the child being accepted as a legal and social child of a new family. Adoption aims to provide the child with a permanent family environment and parental love. Adoption is carried out in three stages: registration of the person(s) wishing to adopt, issuance of an opinion on the suitability of the child for adoption, and adoption by a court decision.
