Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines the fundamental principles and requirements regarding the collection, processing, and protection of Users’ (“You” or “User”) personal data when using the services provided by the “e-Social” internet portal (hereinafter “e-Social”). By using the services of e-Social, You agree to the terms set forth in this Policy.

 

1. Collection of personal data

Personal data is collected as necessary to provide and ensure the services and activities of e-Social, as well as to maintain communication with Users. Collected personal data is processed and protected strictly in accordance with the applicable legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and this Policy.

2. Processing of personal data

Collected personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • To ensure secure and convenient access for Users to e-Social;
  • To update and manage User accounts on e-Social;
  • To guarantee reliable and continuous operation of e-Social services, including service improvement and expansion;
  • To promptly respond to User inquiries.

 

3. Disclosure of personal data

When necessary for e-Social’s operations and only in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, personal data may be disclosed to:

  • Government and law enforcement agencies upon lawful request or court order;
  • In cases prescribed by law to protect legal rights and interests;
  • With the User’s consent;
  • During transfer, reorganization, or other lawful grounds.

Personal data may be transferred outside the Republic of Azerbaijan to third parties located in countries that comply with international standards for personal data protection and applicable legislation.

e-Social employs third-party services but requires these parties to use personal data solely for service provision purposes, prohibiting any other use or direct contact with Users.

 

4. User rights

In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan, You have the following rights:

  • To access your personal data;
  • To request correction of inaccurate data;
  • To request deletion of personal data;
  • To restrict the processing of personal data;
  • To object to the processing of personal data;
  • To withdraw previously given consent for data collection and processing;
  • To file a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority regarding data collection and processing;
  • To exercise other rights provided by law.

5. Destruction of personal data

Personal data collected by e-Social shall be destroyed in accordance with the law when the retention period expires, the User passes away, the purposes of data collection and processing have been fulfilled, or when storage is no longer necessary.

 

6. Protection of personal data

e-Social ensures the legality and security of personal data collection and processing. Modern security technologies and procedures are used to prevent unauthorized access, use, or disclosure of User data. Liability for damages caused by failure to protect such data is regulated by law.

 

7. Cookies and other technologies

Cookies are small data files stored on your computer or mobile device. e-Social uses cookies and geolocation technologies to enhance User experience, personalize services, conduct analysis, and ensure security.

e-Social utilizes Google Analytics to monitor and analyze usage. You can manage or disable cookies via your browser settings; however, disabling cookies may limit some service functionalities.

 

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be revised to comply with changes in normative legal acts. The updated Privacy Policy takes effect from the date of its publication.
