The Social Services Map has been launched
A new digital solution, the Social Services Map, has been developed and launched by the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the DOST Digital Innovations Center.
Aimed at further enhancing transparency, accessibility, and efficiency, the Social Services Map consolidates social services across the country on a single digital platform and visually presents their geographical locations through an interactive map.
The map enables users to search by types of services, obtain detailed information on the nearest social service institutions and centers in their area of residence, ongoing social projects, as well as inclusive and cultural events, and also provides the possibility to submit applications directly.
Individuals wishing to benefit from the opportunities offered by the Social Services Map can access the “e-Social” portal (https://socialmap.e-social.gov.az/) and make selections according to the relevant areas of interest (geographical location of social services, types of services provided, target groups, access to services and application options, etc.).
The electronic platform will also ensure the minimization of time loss and additional application procedures for vulnerable population groups in need of social services.
As a continuation of the reforms carried out in the social sphere, the Social Services Map represents another example of a citizen-centered approach, digitalization, and data-driven governance.
At the next stage, it is envisaged to expand the functional capabilities of the map, add new service areas, and broaden integration with relevant institutions.
