The “Central Career Portal” has been launched
The “Central Career Portal,” which provides support for career guidance and career planning, has been launched by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population.
The purpose of establishing the Portal is to consolidate labour market information on a single digital platform, support young people in their career choice and career development processes, and increase employers’ awareness of the skills they require in the workforce.
The “Central Career Portal” includes the “Graduate Employment Ranking” platform, the “Create a CV” tool, and the “Alo Career” support service, as well as two innovative platforms — the “Job Values Tool” and the “Occupations Atlas.”
The “Job Values Tool” has been developed to help users identify their career and professional interests. By participating in the survey embedded in the system, an assessment is conducted taking into account individuals’ interests, education, and experience. A list of potential occupational fields matching their interests is then presented. The aim is to assist users in making well-informed decisions regarding their careers.
The “Occupations Atlas” platform provides descriptions of professions, required knowledge and skills, education levels, and other necessary information.
In addition, the “Graduate Employment Ranking” platform included in the Portal provides information on the labour market positions of university graduates by their fields of study. The “Alo Career” support service offers citizens prompt informational assistance on issues such as career planning, goal setting, profession and specialization selection, labour market trends, and related topics. Through the “Create a CV” platform, users can quickly prepare a professional, standards-compliant CV.
